How It Works!
-

Get in Touch
Contact us via website, email, or phone. We’ll discuss your space, goals, and which tour solution fits best.
-

Schedule capture
Book a convenient time and we bring 360° photography equipment to capture every detail. Preparing your space helps the tour shine.
-

Capturing your space
Our team will arrive on agreed date to capture interiors, exteriors and whatever is needed. Typical sessions last 15–120 minutes.
-

Processing & creating the tour
We then edit the photos, stitch images, add hotspots, and navigation and create the tour.
-

Review & approve
You then review a draft of the tour and can request minor adjustments. Once you are happy and have reviewed the tour our team will finalize the tour.
-

Share & embed
Your tour is then ready to be embedded or shared to your website or listing.
Virtual Tour Setup & Usage Guide
This guide explains how to access, share, and use your Viewify virtual tour. It’s written for non-technical users so it can be easy to understand to where no website or technical knowledge is required.
1. How You Receive Your Virtual Tour
Once your virtual tour is complete and approved, Viewify will send you an email containing:
A direct tour link (click-to-view)
An embed code (for websites that support embeds)
Optional links for Google Street View or listings
Important: You do not need to download any files to use your tour.
2. Viewing Your Tour
To view your tour:
Click the direct link provided
The tour opens in your web browser
You can move through the space by clicking or tapping
The tour works on:
Desktop computers
Laptops
Tablets
Mobile phones
No app or login is required.
3. Sharing Your Virtual Tour (Most Common Use)
For many customers, sharing the tour link is all that’s needed.
You can share your tour by:
Sending the link via email or text message
Adding the link to Trade Me, real estate portals, or vehicle listings
Posting the link on Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn
Sending it directly to buyers or clients
Simply copy and paste the tour link wherever you normally share links.
4. Using Your Tour on Trade Me & Listing Platforms
Most listing platforms (including Trade Me) do not allow embedded tours, but they do allow links.
Best practice:
Paste your virtual tour link into the listing description
Add a short line such as:
“View the full 360° virtual tour here:”
When users click the link, the tour opens in a new tab.
5. Embedding Your Tour on a Website (Optional)
If you or your web developer manage a website, your tour can be embedded directly onto a page.
General Website Instructions (All Platforms)
Open the page editor for your website
Add a Custom HTML / Code / Embed block
Paste the embed code provided by Viewify
Save and publish
if you don’t manage your website yourself, simply forward the embed code to whoever does.
6. Best Placement Tips (If Embedding)
To get the best results:
Place the tour near the top of the page
Use a full-width section if possible
Avoid placing the tour inside small columns
Add a call-to-action below the tour (e.g. “Contact Us” or “Enquire Now”)
7. Google Street View & Google Maps
If included in your service, Viewify can upload your tour to Google Street View.
This allows customers to:
Discover your space on Google Maps
Explore inside your business before visiting
Improve visibility in Google Search
No action is required from you — Viewify handles the upload.
8. Do I Need to Download Anything?
No. Virtual tours are cloud-hosted.
You:
Do not download files
Do not install software
Do not manage hosting
You simply share or embed the provided link.
9. Common Questions & Troubleshooting
The tour doesn’t open
Check your internet connection and try again. Tours work on all modern browsers.
The tour looks different on mobile
This is normal. The layout adjusts automatically for smaller screens.
I can’t embed the tour on my listing site
Some platforms only support links. In this case, use the direct tour link instead.
My space has changed since the tour was made
Significant changes may require a reshoot to keep the tour accurate.
Helpful Instructions & Troubleshooting
Before Your Capture
How should I prepare my space?
To get the best results, we recommend:
Clean and declutter all areas
Turn on all interior lights
Open blinds or curtains where appropriate
Remove people and pets from the space
Ensure doors you want visible are open
Tip: Treat it like a photoshoot — the cleaner the space, the better the tour.
During the Capture
Do I need to be present?
You’re welcome to be on-site, but it’s not required. Once access is provided, we’ll handle the rest.
Will the capture disrupt my business?
Captures are quick and low-impact. For busy locations, we recommend scheduling outside peak hours.
After Delivery
My tour looks different on mobile — is that normal?
Yes. Tours automatically adapt to screen size. Navigation and layout may look slightly different on mobile to ensure the best experience.
The tour loads slowly — what can I do?
Ensure you have a stable internet connection
Avoid embedding the tour inside very small containers
Let us know — we can help optimise placement
Can I add the tour to my website myself?
Yes. We provide a simple embed link that works on most website builders, including Squarespace.
Common Questions & Fixes
Hotspots or navigation feel confusing
We can adjust navigation flow or hotspot placement on request.
My space has changed since the capture
Significant changes may require a reshoot to keep the tour accurate.
I want to update branding or labels later
Custom tours allow more flexibility for updates. Let us know what changes you need.
Best Practices for Maximum Impact
Place your tour above the fold on key pages
Pair tours with a clear call-to-action
Share the tour link on social media and listings
Use virtual tours alongside photos — not instead of them
